Deck Description

Congratulations to me!!
I am making my 100th deck on MTGvault.
I hope you like it.
It is going to be an expensive Casual deck.

*********************************************************************************

Combo Killer!
Don't you hate Combo decks?!
People who go infinite damage/mana on Turn 4!
Lame, right?

Well, this deck is designed to beat Combo Decks.
Plain and simple.
No more losing to Infinite Mana Combos!!

How to Play

Your opponent has 3 Combo Pieces in his deck.
If he gets all 3 cards, in play, he wins the game.
Card A. Card B. Card C.
How do we stop him?

Turn 1. Island. Cosi's Trickster.

Turn 2. Swamp. Play Mind Sculpt. Pay 2 life to play Surgical Extraction.
Cosi's Tricksters is now 2/2.
(Card A is removed from the game)

Turn 3. Swamp. Play Glimpse the Unthinkable. Play Extirpate.
Cosi's Tricksters is now 3/3.
(Card A and Card B are removed from the game)

Turn 4. Island. Play Tome Scour. Play Bitter Ordeal.
Cosi's Tricksters is now 8/8.
(Card A and Card B and Card C are removed from the game)

Unless your opponent was able, to luckily get all 3 Combo pieces on the board, before turn 4...he is going to be losing the game.

Win Condition:
1) Mill opponent's library.
2) Cosi's Trickster and Griselbrand.

I like the date this was posted. Jace's phantasm would be a decent creature.

23 of September?
Your birthday?
Will Sideboard it for consideration.

Yep. Mana leak or some other 1-2 mana counterspell will be useful for disrupting your opponents tempo, etc.

Added to Sideboard. Thanks.
I want to build a budget extraction deck.

Something like this.
Turn 1. Tome Scour
Turn 2. Mind Sculpt
Turn 3. Dark Ritual into a Haunting Echos.
Good game.
But something like one counter or redirect spell could kill me.
Right call with something like Mana Leak! Thanks.

With so many cards that force opponent to shuffle you might add some Archive Traps

That card rocks!
Definitely would work with this deck.
Surgical Extraction + Archive Trap is nice!

yes, that card is screaming at the other guy: "yes sir, please use a fetch land "

Yep, that makes it even better.
Luckily I never play anyone with fetch land cards.
I put it in the sideboard.
I don't own this deck. One day I might make a budget version and buy it, though.
