Deck discussion for (Modern) Boros Act Combo

You should consider adding Shivan meteor too :)

I run a far more casual decklist with the same overall idea, and the meteor is rarely a dead card.

Hey man, I`m semi new to mtg, been playing for only a couple of years and all i use is redblack or mono black. I'm looking to start somewhere new and try a redwhite. I like this deck you created but would like to know how well you think it would stand up to a greenblue, greenwhite, bluered decks iyo. My friends use these against me a lot and i win but rarely lol. They play f.n.m and comp. stuff so they are very good. I'm still learning and would like to get better. I'm looking to start with something budget just to get acquainted with other mana colors and strategy. Any advice, help, or opinion would be great. Thanks. - Ben.

It's going to take a lot more than $30 to compete with competitive players, unfortunately.

Agreed, but i would like help finding a place to start with a new mana color. All i have is redblack and mono black. I want to build my next "real" deck. I was thinking redwhite, such as this one. But im mainly looking for new decks to buy and use for weekend plays at my house, just for fun with friends. They just know more then me and have been playing longer then me. So i want to start somewhere and only get better. Thanks.
