Maybe wall of reverence instead of angelic chorus? Then you get a blocker and gain life every turn at the largest value on the field, and it costs the same! Only downside I think would be that it is now subject to much more removal, but if you're playing with anyone with a fairly well rounded deck they should have an answer to an enchantment at least sideboarded right?
