That name and then seeing Emrakul as the thumbnail just about made me shed a tear from laughing. Good god, that is funny.

Your name is EroticFishCakes, I think if anybody should be laughing so hard it should be everybody who sees that. And I do believe your breath has run away with along with the others.

@Backfire Phoenix; I'd apologize to your neighbors, but I think it's worth it XD

Nice, this is a sweet idea. I think you could probably cut the Gut Shot in the board though for some more goodies to wish for. Maybe Chain Lightning or Meltdown or something. Cool deck though. I dig the midrange control feel with a combo finish. Seems super fun actually.

Gut Shot is due to the fact that I can't look out my window without seeing Delver pretty much, and killing it before it flips is just wonderful.
Meltdown is something I've tinkered with before, and it was really fun against Affinity, but I wouldn't be able to decide between it and Shattering Spree to be honest. They're both soooo good, and the contrasting mana costs make it hard to really pick which is better.

This deck was based off an idea deck Stephen Menendian used for an article back in the height of CounterTop, and I kind of ran with it. The curve has changed to reflect the times, and the general spell selection adapted too, going for a more versatile and compacted list.
It's honestly one of my favorite decks, and one of the only times I get to play shenanigans like Natural Order on Dryad Arbor into Progenitus.

The deck is stupidly fun to play, I highly recommend it man. One thing I've been considering trying is -1 Wish -1 Island +2 Izzet Charm. Because that spell is too good to not want to play.

Looks like genuine ingenuity, what are its weak spots, if I might ask?

A resolved Æther Vial in a decent aggro-control deck eats this alive, same as anything that relies on CounterTop to slow the game to its pace. Abrupt Decay is also an easy out for tempo BUG lists to stabilize under.
Honestly the worst two decks for this are Maverick and Fish right now. Maverick is one of those bane of my existence decks, but Fish is just because of how the deck is laid out.

Lands is a bad MU regardless of what you're playing if it's not Storm. Lands will always be Lands.

Yeah I bet Maverick just pisses on this deck's grave...

Sorry, but I´ll have to do a search before commenting. Haven´t heard that term yet - "Maverick". Isn´t that also a card game of sorts? Like Bridge?

Just a sec, dudes

Okay, so. From what I gather its a Death and Taxes, splashed with Green for creature pump + graveyard recur and disrupt? Sounds like someone made a nightmare-version of D&T - Jebus H.

Yeah, Maverick took the worst of D&T and made it worse... It runs all of the easiest outs to this deck, and on at least one occasion a player LAUGHED when I played Emrakul since they used Oblivion Ring... Maverick is the bane of my existence in competitive MtG.

Well I can no longer look at Emrakul the same way ever again, so thank you for that gents.

I must say, Vendillion Clique in conjunction with Show and Tell is exquisite, well done.

What makes it even better is that I hear there are Tentacle Grape card sleeves available online. If that's true, I know what will find a home in them.

Vendilion Clique is the unsung hero of all RUG decks in my humble opinion, and in this case it makes perfect protection before a Show and Tell. I find myself reminiscing over NO RUG thanks to this deck, and then remembering why I hated it as soon as I start to play it again.
