Deck Description

Probably not the best design for it, but I figure it'll be what I use to test the cantrip build Jack.

Deck discussion for Cantrip Doomsday

Nice! I'm glad you're finally testing out a more cantrip heavy build. A few things that immediately stand out to me though

-You don't need IGG because you don't have Infernal Tutors( well you actually do have 2, but i don't think they're necessary, and with only 2, the IGG line isn't going to show up all that often anyway), and Wish gets removed from the game when played.

-Meditate has gotta be Ideas Unbound! I know your gonna have to learn some new piles but it's totally worth it. The IU piles are so cheap and easy to get going. Just check out my DDFT page on here. I have a massive list of all the go-to piles with IU. :D

-Chrome Mox stinks in this deck. The card disadvantage is a bummer and just not really worth it. I think Petal, Drit, and Rain of Filth are fine. Rain of Filth wants you to have a few more lands anyway.

Yeah, and it's actually nowhere near as ANT+ feeling as I expected. I still don't enjoy it as much as the less sculpted, more engineered luck version I'm used to, but it'd certainly be less of a headache at tournaments.

-Quite true, I stuck it in because I'm a sucker for Iggy. It allows wins we simply should not have.

-Eeeergh, I really hate the UU cost, but again, you have much more experience in this variant.

-The card disadvantage is biting, but the fact that it's a non-land reusable mana source is not. Certainly we can't make use of it as well as PactSI or ANT, but honestly I'd not mind having a second of it. But being able to Brainstorm away excess Cantrips is just as well as turning them into mana when running Rain of Filth.

Excuse me while I laugh maniacally. HAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHA! I might not be as happy as if it was the variant I support more, but seeing Doomsday in the top 16 is simply beautiful.
