If you find Glue Stax lackluster, I honestly believe you're doing it wrong.

It's not quite as beautiful as the manner of thing Awz? did, but it still gave me quite a laugh.
Yes, yes... Let the weird speech patterns flow through you. And Tyrmaret is pretty cool, I didn't know about him yet, so thanks. I might stick one or two of him in the sideboard, the direct damage option, especially since it can be applied after combat, is quite tempting.
It's a song. I don't care much for the bulk of the vocals, but the second half of the chorus is quite good. "Just give me a life to bleed. Another world outside that's full of all the awful things that I made"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJelsOHe6xk
They really do, but there's reason behind it. Zombies are one of those decks you simply can't make a misplay in, it's pretty much just more zombies... Perfect for handing to a friend who wants to play even though they've been drinking.Usually if it's a shard it'll be Grixis zombies, but I think that running it like Filth makes for a more consistent frame. Throw in the red for cheap removal, and Faithless Looting, and you're in business.I've always loved Haakon, with Nameless Inversion he becomes the closest thing I can do to running something like PunishingBurnwillows, or Tortured Existence in Modern. Also, he was my second general in EDH. Yes, I was aware that I could never do anything with him, but I had no black legendaries back then, and he was seventy-five cents.
Would one be willing to say that we're professionals?
A fair point. And if it's any consolation, I play both as well. If I must be painfully boring, at least I know there's another who is in the same boat.
If you think about it, this is one of the most optimized designs currently in MtG; everything has a purpose, and each choice has been weighed by each pilot to the point of exhaustion. The only deck I know of that was quite so close to being built by automation is Ravager Affinity. And I wouldn't even describe it as mind numbing, I generally reserve that for something mindlessly cathartic, like pulling weeds. I'd more say that it's the most dreadfully boring matchup in the game short of Lands v. Lands.
Probably due to how much the design has been optimized over time. And the benefit of Slash Panther is that I have an odd luck to find other Glue Stax players, and being able to quickly apply pressure makes it a bit less awkward. I've been strongly considering switching the numbers of it and Phyrexian Revoker really.
This is one card away from being the version I've been using since Thalia got printed. I took out a Thorn, same as you, but also the third copy of Stony Silence. Six Null Rods has been doing quite adequately, and with the increased number of sphere effects makes up for it.The biggest differences in our lists would probably be in our sideboards.2 Jester's Cap(I find if you're running Workshop without at least two in the board, you're running it wrong)2 Metalworker2 Slash Panther3 Phyrexian Revoker3 Faerie Macabre3 Relic of Progenitus
Or since Splooge is only running one copy of Abrupt Decay, could switch the mana base back to WBR, with one forest dual for purposes of Deathrite's creature ability.
Not many people messed with that idea, so the ones that did are on the list to remember.I was, changed to this account because the name hadn't made sense in a long time, and it was getting too much attention from other players locally. Not only that, but the layout of this deck has less resiliency to such effects than you'd think. Also, Deathrite and Scavenging Ooze are the banes of my existence right now in MtG. Graveyard-based designs have always been my favorite, and those cards are so easy to slip in it's painful.
The only good news is that it means more development studios could get their hands on the IPs that Lucas Arts was holding. Star Wars is obviously going to be a regulated commodity to minimize damage to sales, and games for it will no longer have new material from Dark Horse to draw from(Disney is switching the SW stuff over to Marvel), so I don't know how that is going to fare, but ermagerd Monkey Island could come back.
Tim Schafer, Mark Hamil, and a fun theme tune. Oh how I shall miss Lucas Arts.
My God, you live! If I recall correctly, you made a Poxtraction deck somewhere in the middle, between these and my own Iso-Pox designs. It's good to see you back.Liliana is always a tempting option when you can stick her in, but these aren't quite as resilient to her effect as other decks right now. Lingering Souls however I think would make an interesting choice at one or two. But the constraint on the deck makes it hard to see a place to have it for testing.
*queue Fallout 3 level up sound*There's even an episode where they parody themselves as a show, and somehow it's one of the best things to ever happen. But nowhere near as good as the fact that the episode had "Doctor Sexy"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7aIOxgq7E8Oh man the stories can be so great, and of course you wouldn't use them, but the laughs they can give! And if only others did so the same... All too often I've seen people not care that they turn into hideously monstrous versions of themselves when they drink.
I've said this to many people, but I don't really believe in levels when it comes to MtG(except of course the creatures with them). Understanding the rules and interactions of this game just takes research time, and questioning it.http://i.imgur.com/OpbFU.gif your reference eludes me.I always see the word sire as one of two meanings; Progenitor, or high nobility(especially royalty).
It's an option, but for that price you could just as easily have Ensnaring Bridge. Maze of Ith however is a great card, but I can't recall ever testing it in a Pox based design, but Blackfire Phoenix has inspired me to keep two copies and an Ice Floe in the SB for the next time I play against Maverick. I'm looking forwards to seeing how it works out.
You're assuredly not, and I wouldn't say I speak it, so much that I'm learning to do so, and in the meantime dabble. The two languages I'm aiming at learning afterwards are Dansk, and then Norsk. While at least marginally mutually intelligible, I would love to be able to speak the language of my grandfather.
Ah, but that's the great thing; Imposing Sovereign uses a static ability rather than a triggered one. Torpor Orb would benefit me far more than the people I play with. Also, why sire? O_o
