This deck came about on a prompt from a friend. How would you go about making a deck consisting mostly of spells and still be able to win in commander?
The nitty gritty: if you want to play this you have to have near infinite patience. You NEED Eye of the Storm. all you do until you get it is play mana, possibly shoot a creature or two. You also need to hold onto Stream since that is your recursion plan.yes the deck can really suffer if Eye gets exiled but barring that you should win 1 or two turns after playing eye.A neat thing you might not realise is that yes all the spells that come from eye are cast. this means storm is absurd with an eye out, and that Reservoir is an actual strategy in this deck.with eye in play you want one or two of these effects on it to guarantee your win:1. card draw ( mainly something like ponder or preordain that has selection included)2. untap effect(snap or toils does very well here, turnabout makes you go infinite that much faster)3. any sort of mill or burn (this is your win but you can cycle through the deck to get there with the two first sorted) you have three possible wins in the deck:1. milling all of them. (use extract to deal with stuff like eldrazi)2. burning them. (6 bolts per spell is not bad)3. Reservoir. (Cheese it all the way home baby)NB: if worried about final fortune you can sundial to skip the trigger from that.
