Deck Description

This deck is based on combos that allow me to tap creatures to kill your creatures or draw cards. I almost never actually attack with this deck.

All my Red creatures tap to deal damage. I equip them with Gorgon Flail or Venomous Fangs to Tap to kill a creature. When Wojek Embermage has deathtouch I call that combo genocide.

Keen Sense and Snake Umbra allow me to draw a LOT of cards but only when I tap to deal damage to a player.

Seeker of Skybreak lets me kill additional creatures or draw additional cards.

Quest for Renewal is basically my win condition, especially when playing large groups.

I would love to hear some suggestions or ideas on how to improve this deck.

Deck discussion for Tap

Hey man, this is Nate. You mentioned wanting to add a little life gain to your deck. Might I suggest

Soul Net: http://magiccards.info/7e/en/317.html
Soul Net would cost you every time you use it, and it seemed like you were tapped out a lot. However, it is very cheap to do so, and you certainly kill a lot of creatures.

Spirit Loop: http://magiccards.info/ts/en/42.html
Spirit Loop is white, but your birds of paradise would make it easy to cast, and it comes back to your hand if your creature is killed.

The only other card I think you should consider is
Spikeshot Goblin: http://magiccards.info/mi/en/108.html
I recommend this because you have a lot of cards that give +1/+1, which only makes your pokers a little bit tougher. With this card you could double or triple the damage done per poke for a little mana. Again you seemed to be tapped out a lot, but with Snake Umbra and Gorgon Flail attached this could be well worth the extra mana.

I don't know what you should take out, the Viashino Fangtail looks like a likely candidate since you don't really do any direct combat damage, and it is pretty expensive as a poker.

These are only suggestions. As it stands, this deck is incredible, and I will definitely be working hard on something to beat it with.

Very cool suggestions. I especially like the goblin which has a cool combo with birds of paradise as well since they will both untap after Quest for Renewal.

Both gain life cards would be great in this deck. I especially like Spirit Loop.

I agree that Viashino Fangtail is a bit expensive and only kept him in this deck as a blocker. Another huge weakness of this deck; no blockers. But if i had either way available to gain life then I wouldn't really need to block.

Another excellent thing about these suggestions, they will actually bring my mana curve down in a deck that already is inconceivably inexpensive to cast.

I am actually working on a white deck that taps to prevent or redirect damage. Featuring Wojek Apothecary. Not as much fun as this deck but it would be an interesting match.

I am totally looking forward to playing with you again.

I have also considered Venser's Journal for life gain. It would really help once I start drawing cards like crazy.
