Another supernatural themed deck. This time the focus is werewolves; humans who have embraced their inner-beast, and have become consumed by it. I wanted the deck to capture the aggressive and fight-hungry nature of the werewolf, and their joy for mortal combat.
This deck is a bit scatter-brained, as I am still putting all the pieces together. The basic idea I'm shooting for is that this deck is all about direct creature combat; using spells like Prey Upon and Pit Fight. Also, Bloodrush is used to boost attacking creatures, while Fling allows the battle-crazed wolves/werewolves to launch themselves for one last bite.

This deck is a major work in progress.I want to ultimately narrow the focus of the deck to one or two werewolves types, and have four of each. Maybe focus on wolves/werewolves with decent activated abilities (such as Daybreak Ranger). That way I can tighten the creature fighting aspect of the deck, and make room for some support spells; such as wolf token generating, for example.I also want to get all four Disciple of the Old Ways. Basically, narrow the creatures down to those with first strike, or those that can gain it. It will really help set off Bloodrush ambushes (plus, the disciple looks like X-23, which is so badass. I love the primal feel, and it fits thematically).Additionally, I will try to acquire more useful bloodrush spells; such as ones that grant trample.

Update:Traded x2 Timberpack Wolf for x1 Disciple of the Old Ways and x1 Scorchwalker. So now I'm up one bloodrush, and a kickass X-23.Werewolves I'm liking so far:1. Reckless Waif. Great turn 1. 2. Mondronen Shaman. Brutal triggered ability as a wolf. Adds a nice unexpected control mechanic to stifle the opponent.3. Daybreak Ranger. Need to find a way to grant it deathtouch. Maybe Nightshade Peddler to fit the theme (druids/shaman/forest dwellers)4. Scorned Villager. great turn 2 drop, and the extra mana will bring everything else out faster.5. Gastaf Shepherd. great turn 2, and intimidate in wolf form.Still lots to work on. Still tweaking the loadout. Might end up going Tribal werewolf.
