The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

This deck is inspired by the mad scientist archetype, Dr. Frankenstein and his crazy experiments, deranged and sadistic lab assistants, and the poor mangled monstrosities that are born as a result. It is my first zombie deck, and my first attempt at deck depletion -- as a side strategy. I anticipate that this will go through many revisions (as all decks do), so I am very much open to suggestions.

How to Play

The key here is to get the right zombies down, at the right time.

- All the black zombies can be cast at no extra cost, so they enter the fray first.
- Stitcher's apprentice can be used to sacrifice Black Cats (as needed) to generate corpses for the bigger blue zombies
- Undead Alchemist should not be cast until the Highborn (and a significant army) are ready to roll. With any luck, depletion should ensue
- Ghoulraiser to bring back Undead Alchemist if needed
- Curse of the Bloody Tome etc. to fatten the enemy's graveyard, and beef up the Wight.
- UPDATE: Undead Alchemist modifies damage, converting it into depletion. So, proper timing is essential, and having a Stitcher on stand-by to kill the Alchemist could be handy if depletion needs to switch back to damage dealing.

Deck discussion for Brain Insane

Thoughts:

So far, it plays rather well. As expected, the deck is highly vulnerable, due to its lack of support spells. As I tweak it I will look to adding appropriate:

1. Creature removal/control/disabling spells
2. Damage protection spells
3. Cancels

I also want to look into possible ways to token support; boosting numbers, damage, etc.

Specific cards that may end up being replaced:
- Ghoulcaller's Bell
- Endless Ranks of the Dead
- 1x cellar door
