This is my attempt at building a deck for modern tournaments. After some research I found it's a archetype that is competitive in modern and doesn't cost thousands of dollars to build like a lot of modern archetypes can. It could probably use some work, as the only modern I have played was just casual with friends, never in tournaments, and modern is so much faster than standard, so all tips and/or advice is more then welcome. thanks in advance for your time!
This deck tries to get out it's creatures quickly and swing either before blockers can be played or by pumping them through if need be. If they can't block or decide not to, you can hit for up to 7 poison counters in one hit from a creature that's normally a 1/1. My primary concern with this deck prior to building/testing is that it looks similar to a bloodrush deck, where once you've spent your hand from pumping spells, if you havn't already won, you lose. Anyone who has played a deck like this before it would be appreciated if you could give some input on this issue/concern

Gemstone Mine is a decent modern land to look at as it gives you the ability to tap for any mana for 3 turns, it's a little pricey but it'll work in an Aggro Deck like you are running.

that's funny, I got one of those from a structure deck way back and I didn't know it was worth anything. I wonder if I still have it lol. I could probably use one of those instead of a painland or something, thanks for the idea!
Oh and I wouldn't use Viridian Corruptor, he is a bit pricey... I use Blight Mamba, which is a 1G for a 1/1 infect with a 1G regenartion cost.
Ya, he does have a little bit higher mana cost, but he is in there due to massive amount of artifact decks in modern like affinity and its branch offs.
Just throw him in your sideboard, that way you have him if you need him but can also speed your deck up
