Deck Description

The whole deck is about manipulation and playing around with your +1/+1 counters. It is based on Simic's "Evolve" ability, combined with control of the battlefield and constant pressure.

How to Play

A pretty Standard Simic Evolve Deck, tweaked towards my needs. Cloudfin Raptor and Experiment One are outstanding One-Drops, which can be played in your first turn nearly every duel. Drakewing and Elusive Krasis will trigger "Evolve" and transform your weak 1/1 s into a force to be reckoned. Along with side-effects as of Simic Manipulator, Gyre Sage and Fathom Mage you can make sure you're suited for whatever situation, while maintaining an unpredictable playstyle yourself. Your enemies must beware of you having some spare mana, as Shambleshark, Simic Charm and Burst of Strength can easily turn the board to your favor. All in all, with this deck you're well-suited for almost every situation.

Vorapede needs to be in this deck at least 2 copies

Isn't Vorapede a bit expensive? Or does he really make up for being so mana-hungry? :D

And if I decide to play Vorapede... Which other cards to kick out? :D

I have a similar deck going to this, I recommend dropping the burst of strength for increasing savagery. If you play increasing savagery on a gyre sage, fathom mage, or simic manipulator you are on a nonstop trip to value town.

Adding forced Adaptation could be very good if used on Experiment One or Simic Manipulator. Blessing of Nature and Travel Preparation can be used for some quick counters. I have also found that Ooze Flux works as a counter drain and will cause more evolve if you need a quick evolve on some creatures. There were also two other creatures that give your evolved creatures trample and flyiny, but I forgot their names, you should be able to find them.
