Deck Description

I'm new to magic. This is my first attempt at a control style deck, and I just recieved all of this in the mail. I have never been to FNM before, but I would love to take this deck. Is there anything that I should do to make this more viable in tournament play?

Deck discussion for RTR control

Awesome deck! Id take out a Niv or two and at least one hypersonic dragon to add more electromancers and/or guttersnipe. also, counterflux hasnt really impressed me so far... If it doesn't work too well for you either, blustersquall is a very versatile and effective control card :-) good luck at fnm!

Thanks. I'll try that. I only had 2 Nivs, but I found one in a booster yesterday, so I threw him in as well. He's a great card, but the cmc is pretty high.

counterflux, dreadbore and izzet charm doesnt really work with electromancers. i prefer dissipate over syncopate too. maybe try cyclonic rift?

What would you take out in order to add Cyclonic Rift? I have two of them already--I'm just not sure where to put them.
