I'd say drop two of your Descent of the Dragons and add two Dragon Tempest. Gives your thopters haste, when they enter, also you could do some serious damage sacking the thopters to make dragons. Also, maybe impact tremors?

What about Dragon Arch? would allow you to put out Borborygmos for 2 instead of 8. And agree with Overgrowth instead of Verdant Haven. Otherwise, I really like the idea behind this deck! +1 from me
