Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (16 cards)

Deck Description

Cloning a Biovisionary seems oddly appropriate...

Added Note:
For those on a budget, it runs competently with 2 terramorphic expanses and 4 simic guildgates instead of the 3 breeding pools/flooded groves.

How to Play

Use Drift of Phantasms' transmute to get out Biovisionaries (or maybe even Axebane Guardians, depending)

Infinite Reflection is the I Win card, same goes for Rite of Replication if it's kicked.

Cloning means 'comes into the battlefield,' so rock the Acidic Slime.

Counterspell anything with flying!

Deck discussion for Frankenclone

I just got my hands on a couple of Biovisionary spells, so I'm looking to build a deck around it. Some nice ideas!

Why don't you run Soul Foundry, and also look into Followed Footsteps. you could even use Mimic vat on the overgrown battle ment for more ramp. lol

thanks for the tip on the Soul foundry. Not sure how to play it, though, since it can only clone one creature and only once a turn. Would it be a mana-intensive replacement for Followed Footsteps?

The pros and cons to soul Foundry is pros its a artifact so if you loose the creature you wont loose the artifact. The cons very high mana cost for blue but since your green you have so much land grab it shouldnt been very hard to work in. At least make it another. option for making copys. Like throw two in and see how it plays

well, i guess if you want to go really hardcore, you can make it standard by useing progenator mimic. but if its a modern deck, just use summining pact, followed footsteps.

I almost prefer Progenitor mimic over followed footsteps. Summoner's Pact is a tempting idea to search out the last Biovisionary, but i think i prefer cloning it and having a couple card spaces open for secondary win conditions.
