Well, right now it's all theorycrafting since I generally build and then buy entire decks, purchasing different cards if need be. I went with goblins since I've been neglecting red in deck building.Spikeshot elder definitely has more synergy with what I'm going for, since it just gets bigger, especially if Quest for the Goblin Lord is in effect. Thanks for the suggestions!

what would I put in his place?
that requires a land of each type. otherwise it would totally be in the deck.
Oh okay, then the deck looks good. Still. Fetch lands!
Vampiric tutor and the fetch lands. They're awesome. Also, the Regent is cool, but I shouldnt need her if Im stacking the Nocturnus.
Sliver Queen? Sliver Overlord?I do like the door of destinies, though. Seems kind of slow compared to Coat of Arms, however.Unless you have a budget, I recommend fetch lands instead of Farseek.
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas is nice when you're running mostly artifacts, he's great card draw
Run 4 glimmerposts and 4 cloudposts. When you read them you'll see why. There are also the Urza lands which crank out 3 mana per land if one of each is out. What kind of budget do you have?Check out my two artifact decks to get a few ideas.http://www.mtgvault.com/jazzthree/decks/cheatyfax/
why not both glimmerposts and cloudposts? theyre both loci, so they work off of each other- however I am not very familiar with how the Urza trio works in play, so maybe theyre a better option
i built something like this, but I focused more on defenders and Axebane guardians. This deck here can still win without biovisionaries, unlike mine. More mad science!
Youre running green? Living wish! It lets you tutor for something in your sideboard for 1 and a green.
And it's relatively cheap!
Huh! Green weenies on a budget. I like it!Any thoughts about how you're going to use the saprolings as something besides attackers? I don't have much experience with them, but dont Thallids have special effects that trigger by sacking the saps?
I almost prefer Progenitor mimic over followed footsteps. Summoner's Pact is a tempting idea to search out the last Biovisionary, but i think i prefer cloning it and having a couple card spaces open for secondary win conditions.
thanks for the tip on the Soul foundry. Not sure how to play it, though, since it can only clone one creature and only once a turn. Would it be a mana-intensive replacement for Followed Footsteps?
