The deck is all about life loss. It prevents the opponent from gaining life, and as the game continues, they lose more much faster. The Festering Goblins and Black Knights make great early defenders, and the Lurking Jackals kick in turns later. It's very defensive in an offensive way. The False Cure is incase I don't get a Forsaken Wastes. Although the Forsaken Wastes does destroy the point of Soul Feast and suspending Roiling Horror, those cards still helps create a gap between how much life I have compared to my opponent. By turn 6 or 7, I get something big like Hollowborn Barghest or Laquatus's Champion out and they help finish it. The Netherborn Phalanx is there mainly for his transmute ability, that way I can grab a Wound Reflection, but if the opponent is playing a deck with a lot of creatures, it comes in handy to hurt them even more. This isn't for tournament play. Just for casual fun.
