Deck Description

I have been playing Bant since before it was called Bant, back in the days of UGw Threshold. This deck is reminiscent of my old favorite style of play combined with the awesome goodies that have come along since then. Here, Delver takes the place of Mongoose. 11 cantrips may seem like a lot, but they really help smooth out the deck plus Goyf and Delver really appreciate them. Combined with fetches for shuffle, this deck is extremely consistent. The lower curve also helps with casting your stuff while still cantriping. The sideboard has an enlightened tutor package that I am very fond of. I hate losing to combo, so in go 3 Mindbreak traps (along with the cannonist). Finally, path is a great all around aggro/aggro-control hate card that Delver likes. They come in against Dredge as well.

Deck discussion for Neo Bant Thresh (Legacy)

it seems like a good legacy deck, but is it really necesarry with 4 ponders and 3 preordains?

The extra cantrips were nice, especially with Delver and Goyf, but after some testing I realized the deck needed a bit more oomph, and that was taking up some extra slots. I have edited the deck. The biggest change being Jace. Still have 9 cantrips, which is a lot but not too excessive.
