Deck Description

Slumbering Dragon and Rubblebelt Raiders are two of my favourite cards right now and they match so nicely with Bioshift. A few small modifications could likely push this into Standard legality, but it would likely just be too slow. Instead, this is a nice, casual Modern deck that seems to work relatively well. The deck derives its name from Zhuge Liang, who was known as Kongming, the Sleeping Dragon in Han Dynasty China. If you wanted to splash white and pay through the nose, you could put the actual Kongming card in here from Portal Three Kingdoms.

How to Play

Generally, if you get Slumbering Dragon out with a Forced Adaptation on it early, it's pretty easy to use your instants and whatnot to add counters to it until it's an 8/8 flier. Really, you want to do that first, and get a Rubblebelt Raiders and second Slumbering Dragon later to Bioshift, giving you two very difficult to deal with stompies pretty quick. Generally mana isn't a huge issue because everything is so cheap, so for a budget version, you could cut the dual lands.
