The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Best. Dragon. Deck. Ever. Mana ramp through Rite of Flame + Desperate Rituals + Pyretic Rituals + Seething Song into Dragonstorm (using it's storm ability through your rituals) and pull out all your dragons. WTF OWNED. Lightning Bolts, Flame Slash, and Slagstorm for protection, quick damage to a player, or to activate Blood Thirst on Furyborn Hellkite.

nice but y moltensteel?

I chose Moltensteel for a few reasons. First, he is counted as a red spell. Second, because he can be casted "for free" by paying life instead of mana and if I have Ruby Medallions out. Finally, for a quick win I can burn life to buff his combat damage. Do you think there is a better choice out there? I'm always open to suggestions!
What about Seething Song? Also, what about Increasing Vengeance instead of Reverberate?
Good call on both. I'm running out of room is my problem. I like the flashback on Increasing Vengeance but I always get a little scared with "my spells" only. I'm a "what if" person. I have considered 4 Seething Songs over Ruby Medallions though. Thoughts?
Oooh, I have an idea! What if you take out 12 mountains and add 4 Badlands, 4 Bloodcrypt and 4 Dragonskull Summit. And then add 4 Dark Rituals? This option also allows you to play things like Vampiric Dragon and other Black/Red dragons.
Good concept bro. However, I am going to stick with mono red since the dual lands are so expensive!
Could you please take a look at my deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=308314
- 4 Kilnmouth (even though he is 1 of my favs) + 4 Bogardan Hellkite or Hunted Dragon
Hunted Dragon? o.O I don't get it bro. I can understand Bogardan but it totally nullifies my proliferate ability from Volt Charge. If I switch from Kilnmouth to Bogardan then I would need to switch Volt Chare to Incinerate IMO.
Yea, I understand what you mean about Volt Charge, i wasn't even thinking about it. My problem with Kilnmouth is that you have to reveal a dragon card from your hand to get his bonus, and if the dragon card is in your hand you can't storm him in (i would almost mully any opening hand that had a dragon in it if the combo is your main goal). I answered your question about Hunted on my thread... It seems like in your version you might actually be able to hard cast a dragon once in awhile because of the Ruby's. I think that may be the biggest difference. In mine I'd never want to.
Good call bro. I changed my deck around some based on your feedback. I may even drop 4x Ruby Medallions for 4x Rite of Flame. Thoughts?
I like how it looks man! The Chargers are a good idea!
not bad, personaly i would take out pyretic ritual for rite of flame. just a better card imo. i see why u have reverb in here but i just feel there r better cards to fill its spot in the deck. heck if u wanted to be real evil 4 dragonspeaker shamans would be a serious up grade for this build.
Thanks for your feedback. My main issue with 4x Dragonspeaker Shamans is that I want to steer clear of trying to hardcast dragons. My goal is to Dragonstorm into them ftw.
well i can see what ur tryin to do but the prob is ur deck's mana cost is super high. not to mention just cause u dstorm ur dragons dont mean ur ganna win.. trust me on that one.. now it is more likely that u can get a win yes. its still not a bad deck and is a nice change from the normal Dstorm though.
no karthus? or bogarden hellkites? karthus is defense against all other dragon decks and gives everything haste for you to win the turn you dragon storm. Hellkites are very overused in decks like these tho so i can enjoy the originality of a dragonstorm deck without them, but they do rock the field when you get em out.
Good call on Karthus!
