This deck relies on permanents such as underworld dreams or kederect parasite to take away opponents life by drawing cards. Manaforge cinder acts as a filter to get underworld dreams into play and is also a red permanent for kederect. The other spells are to force the opponent to draw cards (burning iquiry, howling bell or sign in blood) or for defense (terminate, earthquake). The finisher is usually runeflare trap, which usually doubles the damage thanks to quest and goes well with burning inquiry, or howling bell with sign in blood.

Please add advice on how to increase deck speed. Add discarding??? New megrim would be an option, but I would need to get rid of some cards.

why manaforge? you already have 4 dragonskull summits
Yeah, but its also a red permanent, for kederect and underwordl dreams needs 3 black mana
i know someone with a deck similar to this they run hypnotic spector, underworld, teferi's puzzle box and howling mine with other cards like sign in blood etc... my advice drop temple bell, drop all the burn /destroy spells and run howling, teferi and drop mountains for swamps and run 4 dark ritual i would keep runeflare burning and quest but maybe less of each if you went more red you could drop agent of stromgald he switches only red mana to only black which is not as good as manafore but can be done more than three times and with manaforge counts as another red permanent

also liliana's caress would increase damage when they discard. comment on my decks if you dont mind!!!!!!!!!
Sounds good, but the problem is, I run extended format. Previously I had teferi puzzle box in there and discard c ards, but I had to scrap them all since the blocks were removed from extended.
i didn't know it had to run a certain format i thought it was casual. i haven't done tourneys there are none around where i live at and it would be a few hrs. drive to get to one so i only do casual play for example i have a deck running 4 sol rings(hahahahahaha).
i would appreciate your comments on my decks as well

why do you run the parasite? you have 8 red permanents but 4 of them are an enchantment that wont stay out long & you only have 4 bell's to draw the last 4 red permanents so getting the parasite to work will be a slim to none chance.
Why wouldnt the enchantment last long? I only sacrifice it when I know I will basically kill the opponenet by doing so. Before that however the parasite can cause the opponent to lopse quite some life. For example on turn three you could have him out with either red pernament and play sign in blood and burning inquiry to have the opponent lose 7 life +2 when he drew his regular cards. Usually I would only just have played underworld dreams by that point.
Consider running either Howling Mines or Font of Mythos? Can severely hurt your opponents if underworld is out. I have a red/blue draw deck that i think you might like. Here is the link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=83416
Yeah that could work, Ill try it out
Dark ritual would speed this bad boy up alot. With a swamp and a ritual you could drop a cinder n two parasites or whatever is in your hand. My friend plays this deck with Liliana's caress and blightning in there. You may want to consider dropping sign in blood and temple bell. I think they slow the deck down... If you do make that change consider taking out the traps(since their hand won't be so large anymore) and adding barbed shocker/shocker. If you are able to hit with one of those it'll probably be endgame. BTW Spiteful visions is really good in a deck like this.
Hehehe I have a deck similar to this called "Choke". This is pretty cool though.
