Deck Description

This deck relies on getting out something like aura gnarlid or kor spiritdancer on second turn and then just pumping them with cheap auras to make them stronger. If opponent slows you down, then you can use sigil to create angels, with auras as well as draw cards. Also totem armor will save my creatures from effects like day of judgement, which will kill opponents creatures. The advantage of this deck is having all auras very cheap so you can play them right away when you draw a card with kor spiritdancer.

Deck discussion for Aura overrun

Please add suggestions to improve, I know I should have more creatures in this deck. Wall of Omens??? I know that Mesa Enchantress is too expensive for what she does, Ive tried to include her and she just slows the whole thing down.

Pretty nice. I would add just a couple more creatures since I have about the same amount in an aura deck and I always end up with auras but no creatures in my hand. I know shroud is important when working with auras but but 3 Greater Auramancy and 4 canopy cover seems like overkill to me. I would add Rancor so that when Spiritdancer is 12/14 it won't get chump blocked. Of course, with canopy cover you probably won't have to worry about that anyway. Not trying to criticize just suggestions. good deck.

Yeah youre right about the auramancy, ill probably take them out. Unfortunately I cant play rancor since its an extended format, but otherwise thanks for the advice:)

I think sun titan is a good creature and a powerbomb for the deck since it lets you play most of your deck. You can try add him instead of sigil of empty throne cause it works by the time you have him in game.
Also i see that you play a deck with 69 cards if you ask me i would remove the day of judgment and the spider umbra from mainboard add one more wall of omens and have a 62 deck that runs faster and the way you want. If you want to play in a t2 tournament you can remove keen sence instead of day of judgmen or spider umbra.Try it out and tell me your thoughts.

Ive considered sun titan and yes he would fit in, but the sigil I think does much more damage, because if I play a cheap aura, it creates an angel and I get to draw another card, very possibly another cheap aura, and this combo I found very efficient, since by the time I have sigil out, I can create many more angels for the cheap price of one mana. Also I find that opponents find it much harder to get rid of sigil, usually they only have oblivion ring to do the job, whereas everybodys prepared to get rid of creatures eg. path to exile, doom blade, theres tuns of stuff nowadays running in extended.

Also the one thing I like about day of judgement is that my creatures usually dont get destroyed because of the totem armor effect, so its only the opponent who has to clear the board, besides its usefull against these pesky elves, that just multiply far too quickly to stop.
