Yeah Morbid Bloom is a little underwhelming huh

Nice! Thanks for the suggestion.
I believe the core of the deck is actually fairly strong but you are right it is in the middle of a transition so it looks unfocused until I can real it back in
Hello from the future lol! I recently have been getting back into magic. Take a look at what I've done.
yeah contamination is a broken card in this deck. I didn't add it just because I didn't want to be a dick but if I ever take it into any shop play i'll probably add them.
For instance the carrion feeder combo is very effective because it has such a low cost
That's a lot of mana though. Two for necromancer's stockpile as well as two for the lord of the undead. If you have something like nykthos then you can probably swing the mana but i think it would benefit you to try and find a way of making the combo a little cheaper.
This deck was intended to be my first try at defender decks but I think I'm going to buy it lol. I printed out the cards and it is super fun to play especially in ffa. I only wish it could have more control.
Thanks! I'll get back to ya after I check those out.
I'm also sideboarding natralize against decks with horrible enchants or artifacts.
Is this in relation to this deck or the red/white defender deck?
I guess what i'm asking is : 1. How could you suggest I couple the idea of black control with some of the fun new creatures in black red, or 2. What components should I look at for making this more aggro based. Like what is in the meta for black red aggro.
have any good lifegain options in standard?
haha ty ty ty
Yeah contrary to the deck description I actually was trying to steer it away from aggro just because there are so many red black aggro decks in the meta. Call me crazy but I actually like to avoid the meta. I tried to compensate for high mana cost with more control even in the creatures. I have no idea how it will work haha.
So the biggest thing I see that I really like is the element of doing damage to gain an effect. I don't see a lot of cards that are unblockable or shadow however so I don't really see how your creatures will get through. Drogskol is a great card, I heartily agree with him basically everywhere I see him. I would look at using Call to the Kindred in just about any tribal deck that has blue in it. It allows for an extra creature hopefully every turn and frees up mana for spells or more creatures. Its also nice to not have to pay Drogskol's mana cost.
Yeah it really is, usually they go for the loss of life but the thing I love about bleed is that you can make it so cost inefficient.
My favorite combo is Endless Ranks and Noxious Ghoul
Endles Ranks and Noxious Ghoul. Why go around your enemies creatures when you could simply wipe them all out?
I friggen love zombies so despite the pain it will cause whoever you play against i will tell you this. Noxious Ghoul would be good in this deck instead of call to the grave, every time Endless Ranks activates, it sends -x,-x to all non-zombie creatures where x is the amount of zombies that came on the field with endless ranks not including other zombies. With my zombie deck that usually wipes the field more often than not. The best is the fact that the only person not set back is you.
