The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck discussion for Continued attempt at evolve

Honestly it looks pretty descent, only thing I would suggest is trading out something for more experiment ones.. That card is just the one you wanna have out on turn one lol plus he's even a nice card to have late game. And overtime getting your hands on some good lands like harbor, and breeding pool :)

I would find a way to work in Nimbus Swimmer. It's X cost allows you to bring it in just as strong as you need it to evolve your creatures plus they are still counters so they can be doubled or moved with other counter effects.Crowned Ceratok would also be a good one, he's strong enough to evolve your creatures with a toughness of 3 when the creatures are still weak and a power of 4 when they are not and he'll give them trample at the same time, some times that's the boost these creatures need so they don't just get chump-blocked

Ive found that fathom mage is fairly useless as you get basically a 1/1 for 4 mana (yeah the ability is good but hey thats what bred for the hunt is for am i right?)

may try to work in a few http://www.mtgvault.com/card/cloudfin-raptor/GTC/
they can be nice for getting damage through early game probably a good replacement for hydroform
plus with evolve it is super important to have a creature out asap so that its evolve ability can get triggered

also you need Vorel ..... duh... probably 2 of him

also a few more beefy creatures to help evolve your creatures during the late game.... maybe adaptive snapjaw or leyline phantom
along the same lines... maybe one less renegade krasis. yes it is good but realistically the only thing evolving him is going to be master boimancer and giant adephage (unless you add in snap jaw and leyline phantom). You need to make sure you are getting full use of his ability

i also agree with nimbus swimmer

also 18 mana for a 60 card deck (even with the key runes) seems a tad risky. i normally run a minimum of 20

I like how it looks after the fix however I'd run a full set of Nimbus Swimmers and here's why...in decks like this X cost is your best friend, it allows you to play early and it allows you to buff late, no matter when you draw them, they can only help, never hurt

Plus they have flying, which goes well with cloudfin-raptor earlier on and later on they can get scary, I play a Simic Deck competivaly and the nimbus swimmers are my main line most of the time

Giant Adephage, he's good for long game but the Simic are in fact great aggro's, you shouldn't be in long game, plus your Nimbus swimmers can fill that position for less cost

Your welcome, you'll find once you start playing that Evolve lets you beef up quick, and by t4 you can have quiet the force, they arent going to give you any t2 or t3 wins but you can certainly hit very hard, very fast

I wish simic manipulator was runnable in this. But as I can see nothing really works out when I try to fit him in

Yeah he's a good card, but he's better for control decks by far, this is definatly more of a meat-beater deck

Yeahh. I find simic to be more of a toolbox deck

You know Prime Speaker Zegana actually works fairly well in my deck but I wouldn't be sure where to fit her in, in yours, mostly because I dont run a vorel because I don't have one

i also play an evolve deck and have thought about useing forced adaption however most the time i feel like it would be too slow. what are your takes on it.

http://www.mtgvault.com/cha0sw0lf/decks/simic-evolve-power/ - my evolve that im working on

Forced Adaptation can be easily used on creatures who cant get beefed anymore. It's great early on because it will get pleanty of counters out but even very good later because your creatures will reach a limit to the evolve once you have nothing stronger, a few Forced Adaptation work well to countinue the growth
