Deck Description

Gonna try a Sligh/Burn Variant in standard for FNM.
Not really budget minded but I don't want to tank a bunch of money into it either,

Deck discussion for Help Wanted - Standard Sligh/Burn

goblin guides would be a nice addition but they are expensive :/

yeah they would probably triple what I'd have to pay to finish this deck.

Combust would be nice to put in your side board, the liquimetal - shatter/vandal combo is slow and may be a waste in the end, try some good haste creatures, its cheap but on turn three, 5 damage, arc runners, they dont have trample, but a haste card is always good, and its will surprise some people, plus the cards are cheap

I feel like that combo can help me combat a Jace. Although, good ol' fashion burn will probably work just as well, if not better.

I have had a similar deck before, and I find when you have this few creatures with no protection, they are very subject to removal. Neither of the creatures gets an increase in toughness from instants you play, so they are very easy to remove. It`s almost better having only spells in your deck then. It is a lot easier if you just mix it with blue.
