They Copy Pact: They Not Pay

Main Deck (60 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This deck is still a concept, no idea how it will work.

Anyway, when I first saw the pact cards, I thought, "What if somebody played land removal and you couldn't pay?" With Hive Mind, you can force your opponent to cast a pact they cannot pay for. Even if you cannot pay for it, your opponent(s) would lose the game before you. That is the concept of this deck.

I am not personally and expert at deck making, and would love suggestions on how to make this deck strong enough for modern competitions.

How to Play

T1: Land
T2: Land, Devoted Druid (You may cast Sylvan Caryatid as long as you cast Druid next turn)
T3: Land, Sylvan Caryatid or Devoted Druid
T4: Hive Mind, Slam down as many pacts as you can
T5: You have already won, there is no turn five

And the rest of the cards are to help you draw Hive Mind or deal with opponents

tolaria west lets you tutor for pacts if you don't happen to have one, or only have one they can pay for.

i think pact of negation would be a nice addition. and lotus bloom could help you ramp into hive minds

I added the lotus bloom, but pact of negation wouldn't work because you would have to counter something which could destroy you hive mind or your opponent's pact of negation. If I am misunderstanding the card, please tell me how it actually works.
