That's funny. I like the concept but I think it does need some work.
But for the most part it is pretty good.
But infinite loop of 3/3s and then some other stuff. That's just pure genius.

I actually think that second wind isn't a one card combo I don't think it gives the creature the ability to tap itself I think you tap second wind and then tap or untap the creature.

Now that I think about it lab maniac would be probably a more consistent win. I'll be sure to put that in there.

because hardly anyone casts cards from the graveyard so ash zealot wouldn't be good unless your'e playing against a deck that casts cards from the graveyard. so yeah i guess it would be okay in the sideboard.

i would take out ash zealot and put in 2 more rockslide elementals and 2 more thraximundar because ash zealot doesn't do anything to help you in this deck. because when a card enters the graveyard it isn't being cast and ash zealot says whenever a card is cast from he graveyard.
i mean it's up to you but that's what i would do.

i do like your idea better because it is more consistent. but the only turn 1 win is if i can have the perfect hand and the right draw.

fleeting memories is in there because goes along reallly well wiht grinding station and because i get a clue every time i put it out. i dont ussualy want to sacrifice a clue for the draw, instead use grinding station and fleeting memories to mil them for six everytime.

This is probably the best defender deck I've Ever seen.
Playing with this thing is very rough on opponents.
Playing against it is also rough. you have little chance of winning. I've only beaten it like three-four times. with my best two decks I have. and let me say those were very close games. I played it with my Hydra deck and they are tied in games 2-2.

Overall, this is a brilliant deck.
look forward to playing with and against it more.

oh I realize now that there is a cap of 15 cards in your sideboard.

that's why tolarian winds is in the sideboard. I swap it out for something else in the deck when the deck isn't standard anymore.
and why would a 16 card sideboard not be standard legal? I've never heard that before.

the other problem is I mostly discard because of forgotten creation rather than cycle so all the cards I discard are exiled.

i actually think it's an overall better deck.
