BG counter deck. Thought that some of the simic evolve strategies might sync nicely with some of the unleash and undying mechanics of previous sets. Ultimately supposed to be aggro, but doesn't seem quite fast enough yet to me. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated.
Cacklers and Experiment One's are there for 1-drops. Strangleroot geist is a great one to get out on turn 2, swinging for 4 damage right off the bat. Maybe followed by a slitherhead or other 1 drop on turn 3, then either a demonlord of ashmouth on turn 4 or a ceratok or corpsejack. All of these synergize well with the creatures played previously. Ceratok means that when the scavenged/undying/unleashed creatures swing, they get trample (which is always nice). Corpsejack just serves as a buff to scavenge, unleash, and undying. For ashmouth, it's important to sac either slitherhead or the geist to have it benefit you overall. Use bioshift to save undying creatures or as a plan B if you need an unleashed blocker. Abrupt decay is creature removal and forced adaptation should really only be used on undying creatures that already have counters or undying creatures that don't--if you have a bioshift on-hand.

Question: Vraska? Yes or no?

Vraska could work well with this deck, especially with the trample from CC. Once those assassins have counters and trample, that's basically game over for your opponent. I looked this over multiple times and all I can truly say is that this deck is incredible. I also have a golgari counters deck similar to this one, but mine has a lot of white in it as well. It's not very good, haha. But this deck looks flawless IMO. The undying from the vorapede's is ingenius. My friend runs them in his simic evolve deck and it absolutely destroys. If I were to have any suggestions at all, it would be to add Gyre Sages. Maybe even just 2 would do the trick, but they are incredibly good for early round ramping, especially if your deck is good at giving out counters. But of course, this is just my opinion. Like you said, if a deck works it works. haha. Thanks for the help on my Izzet deck! I'm still messing with it right now! So many new ideas came pouring in after what you said! Good luck :)
