I love elves, in MTG, in Elder Scrolls, in books...so it only makes sense for me to have an Elf deck. This is built from scratch and as a random urge to do it. I went to a local card shop one day and just said, "Hey, I want an elf deck," and started searching like crazy through the green commons/uncommons and bought a couple rares for it. It has been worked on since then, hence cards like the Imperious Perfect and Wellwisher, cards that weren't so easy to find in store. I am pretty happy with where it is now, but I welcome suggestions and feedback!
Well, the basic idea is to get out as many elves as possible to overrun your opponent. The Bow of Nylea and the Lys Alana Bowmasters are in there to help with flying creatures, the Wellwisher's are there to keep your life up if you start getting hit, the Fog's are there because 1. They are awesome for only one mana and 2. You need some extra protection from threats like flying/unblockable/big tramplers. I think what I've noticed as the most productive way of winning is to keep buffing up one Elf with the Timberwatch Elf and keep swinging, while keeping up the defenses with either threats like the Wren's Run Vanquisher (deathtouch) or disposables, like the Elvish Eulogist.
