Help, this deck is too strong.

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

So I make a lot of decks for a friend of mine and I try to make them as devastating as possible but now, I'm having trouble beating this one at all. I know I can add red hate and whatnot but I do NOT want to beat it through hate. I want a deck that can beat it on it's own merit that works the same against other decks but I can't think of anything.

My latest deck even has beaten every deck I made of his besides this one. If you can help me change it to be stronger, that would be great too. Thanks.

Deck discussion for Help, this deck is too strong.

Maybe add black sun zenith or damnation to open the field a bit. You could also try adding Avatar of Discord for added speed.

Thanks for the suggestions and I have and use a deck with damnation and what not, in fact it's my best deck but it still doesn't work. In a game of only 20 life, by the time either of those spells hit, he can generally spikeshot elder into a goblin grenade just the same and win. This deck builds back up too fast too, even over my black aggro there. But thanks, I may proxy a damnation or two and see how it goes.

Maybe Shrivel or Nausea for a quick drop that would kill a good chunk of the creatures in there or Engineered Plague. Infest might work too.

Hmm. I like infest the best simply because turn three is when it gets impossible to stop the deck. Also, he could only have one lord out at this time meaning it and all the others would die. My creatures should live too except for the two that would come back anyways. I'll try it too. Willing to try a lot of things here.

I was talking about adding path to exile to your deck if this is the deck to beat that and it's alternate variant swords to plowshares can shut this down pretty fast till you wrath turn 4

I could also help make this "deck to beat better but I don't know of you want that

Yes, I would absolutely want that. Besides, even though I want to beat it, it's my own deck I made, my friend bought all the cards to make it however so I have no problem making it better since not only do I want to face the best decks but it's my own design to begin with.

drop fury stoker giant its terrible here you dont want a 5CC card that doesnt win and cant be cheated into play
lightning greaves is also terrible cut it
in a budgetless world you should add goblin lackey but imgane looking at the price of the deck thhat really not an option
Goblin matron however is a legacy goblin card that about a buck and she generates a goblin tutor ( she can also tutor tar fire or a specific edict but thats gbesides the point) for free and generates card advantage
goblin warchief is also helpful
Koth also cost considerably too much
Goblin guide is a monster use him a 2/2 haste for 1 who cares about draw backs?
curse of stalked prey and goblin burrows can be vut there not worth it
to fill out the deck you can use any of the following
rift bolt
lightning bolt
goblin arsonist
goblin wardriver

Go life gain. Seriously. It's one of the best ways to deal with this kind of deck. Gain life and then play some heavy hitters (or use fly+vigilance) and there you go.

Yeah, I think solid lifegain and a few good walls would get a deck through the early game until you burnt out your hand, then drop a board wipe and clear the field before tokens get out of control. Not sure specifically what I would build against this deck, but elves are a traditional nemesis of goblins. :)

An anti life deck, or an infect deck could beat it as well, if you just want pure speed.

This is the deck I made to beat it. I again would want this deck to be able to beat all other decks of this level and what not. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=411690

in a game of 20 life, maybe a burn would do far better than any other deck. try to make one that has all kind of burn stuff, i think that if you can get rid of his key creatures first, you wont have much trouble, or you can even do a lock down deck. those are the only suggestions i have

XD Actually, I've made another deck already for the cause and this is it:

It is burn... kinda in fact and it really works but I would love any advice you think you could give to make it any better than it is. Thanks.

Smoke would slow this down significantly.

My deck can't stop Goblin Grenades or Lightning Grieves, but it might be able to win.
