I have built MANY green creature decks before. They also tend to win a lot. My advice,
I would suggest:
-8 forests
+4 Dryad Arbor
+4 Birds of Paradise (or Llanowar Elves). Birds are preferable only because they can serve as flying blockers and evasive swingers if you play your Stampede.

Birds will give you mana accell and Arbor and Birds both will serve you well with your overwhelming stampede.

Also, if you are just building the deck hypothetically and don't care about price, add Gaea's Cradle. It belongs in every green creature deck.

Next, consider both Green Sun Zenith and Doubling Chant. You have a lot of 4 ofs in the deck, if you reduce the creatures to 3 ofs, both of these cards will actually increase your odds of getting any of the creatures in to play. And again, both of them will mana accell with Dryad and Brids.

Finally, replace all of your rampant growths with Nature's Lore. You don't need rampant growth because the only basic land you have are forests, and rampant growth puts them in to play tapped. Nature's Lore seeks only forests, but puts them in to play untapped.

All of my above advice should be easy to fit in to the deck, which I might add is already a solid base for a deck. However, with my advice I think the deck will go from being playable to being scary.

If you like my advice, then please check out and drop a comment on any of my decks, but I think you will specifically like these two:
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=382265 - Green treefolk with a splash of black for the finisher.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=381598 - My overwhelming stampede deck.

Both decks win me lots of games. :)
