This is my attempt to make a primarily green deck as controlly as possible. I'm a die hard green player and used to play an Azusa deck, but I found it kind of boring and monotone - ramp, ramp, ramp. I like this Sagarda rendition because I get a lot of good removal and support from the white elements.
An ideal first hand includes either Courser or Oracle and another piece of ramp. The faster I can get my commander out the better because she can do some damage. If I'm off to an average start, Sigarda can deal 13 commander damage to someone before my opponents can build a board. Rhonas, the Ajanis, sunscorch regent, and managorger hydra are designed to give me a solid presence in the mid game. One of my favorite board states is having asceticism, managorger hydra, and duelist's heritage. One-creature-wrecking crew!!The normal finishers are genesis wave, tooth and nail, craterhoof, avenger of zendikar, blanchwood armor, primal bellow, and/or overwhelming stampede.I welcome any suggestions. The main issues I'm having is lack of draw power (even though I feel like there is enough), balance between voltron and control styles, and whether or not to include more enchantments, artifacts, or creatures. I feel like I need to focus on one of those.Any advice on if/how to incorporate the side deck is much appreciated as well and I would be happy to take a look at your deck(s) :D
