Deck Description

I've played a few different Boros decks before, Aggro, token, midrange etc., but nothing spell heavy. I had some Sunforgers and decided that RW spells would be an interesting twist, since i'm more of a creature based player. So I started building around sunforger. I did a little research and talked with friends and came up with this deck.

How to Play

I use Isochron Scepter to clear the board early on with lightning Helix or in other cases, Path to Exile. Should I find a Reckoner early in my hand with a Boros Charm, I'll Scepter the Charm to make it indestructible on attack or defense OR double strike it for offense. If the reckoner is indestructible, I'll play Flamebreak and hit my opponent for 6 damage, while keeping Reckoner alive.

The phoenix's reviving ability helps keep creatures on the field in late game, and works great with both planeswalkers. I'll either draw into Browbeat or Sunforge it for draw power. Or my opponent takes alot of damage by choice. This new Chandra plays kinda well in this deck, especially with Magma Jet (which I will main deck once I decide what to lose) because I'll Jet/scry on opponent's turn, draw my first card and exile the second, making it able to play.

Grim Lavamancer to put my graveyard to better use. Especially since Reckoner is just a suicide kinda guy, gets targeted early, and i have no way of reviving cards. No love lost there. Ajani Vengeant is awesome for it's added Lightning Helix effect and should I pull off his final ability, especially with some early on Path to Exile action, that leaves my opponent land-less. Chandra's Final is pretty messed up in this deck as well, because 3 Warleader's Helix (12 Damage/ +12 Life) is a decent finisher, if Baneslayer Angel hasn't done the job already.

Deck discussion for Sunforger Offensive

You have way to few creatures. 11/60 means you got one in your opeing hand and one every sixth draw. Thats underwhelming since you need creatures to run your sunforger and they have no protectio against removal.
Also this statement is invalid "I'll Sunforge for Flamebreak" you cant Sunforger sorceries. Nor flamebreak, nor Browbeat does their thing in this deck.

I have corrected myself, thanks for catching that! I can understand that having 11 creatures is too low. I'm looking into "Man-lands" right now. Do you have any further suggestions for creatures I should add or spells that I should take away?

From creatures, if you wish to keep a fairly low amount, how about some guys with some sort of protection against removal. Fiendslayer Paladin comes to mind. Moreover his first strike and lifelink are gonna be awesome with Sunforgers +4 power. There are also a few paladins with color protections. From spells, I woul cut a few browbeats.
