Boros aggro. Trying to make it tournament quality so any input is appreciated!
Very aggro with bits of control. Early game you have Boros elite and vexing devil for damage. By turn three you have lining mauler and silver blade swinging for 8. Or turn 4 silver blade with spark trooper swinging for 12. I debated putting in draw to fill my hand, but opted for miracle control. Banishing stroke takes care of pesky big creatures or annoying enchantments. I mainly use Aurelia's fury to tap creatures at EOT so I can swing in for a kill. Any critiques would be very appreciated!3-25-13 threw in some Ajanis to take some heat off me early game while buffing my creatures. Took out Aurelia entirely because she rarely ever ht the board in the first place, and if she did the opponent was basically dead from either thundermaw or within a spear or Boros charm. Put in Odric and a few more creatures such as Mikeaus since he synergies so well with Ajani. The previous deck configuration had high burst damage but ran out of steam quickly, leaving me with at most 1 creature on the board by turn 4. My idea ths time around is build up a creature base and whittle my opponent so by the time Odric swings with the team, I can force my opponent to have all his creatures block Boros Reckoner and end the game.3-11-13 made some changes. Took out lightning mauler for Nearheath Pilgrim. All my creatures with CC 4 and up have haste anyways, so Nearheath at least gains me life back from those. Not to mention it synergies well with Vexing Devil. I've play tested this deck against a few others, and it's only true weakness seems to be Blind Obedience and enchant control. The sideboard takes care of that with Paraselene, Glaring Spotlight is specifically for Invisible Stalker (I HATE IT), Rest in Piece for reanimator, and Harvest Pyre for Consuming Abberation and mill. More critiques appreciated! I'll be sure to return the favor.
