An extremely fast Infect deck with some suicidal tendencies. The idea is to use Virulent Swipe to make a flying/unblockable creature hit harder or to use Distortion Strike on Vatmother or Plague Rats. When playing solitaire with this I've noticed that the average number of turns it takes to win is 5. Sometimes you can win in 4 turns and if you get a good hand and your opponent gets a crappy one, winning on the third turn should is possible. All you need is Blighted Agent ready and a decent combination of Virulent Swipes, Mutagenic Growths and/or Distortion Strikes in your hand on the third turn. 12.1.2012 Removed 3 Fireshriekers, 1 Grim Affliction and 2 Chained Throatseekers. Added 2 Plague Myrs and 4 Mutagenic Growths to speed things up. 28.1.2012 Removed 1 Phyrexian Vatmother and 1 Grim Affliction. Added 1 Tezzeret's Gambit and 1 NIght's Whisper. Will get rid of Night's Whisper as soon as I get my hands on the fourth Gambit. 29.1.2012 Removed 3 Vatmothers, one Island and two Swamps. Added 4 Unstable Mutations and 2 Signal Pests. Vatmothers are way too slow for this kind of deck, even if you could get them on the third turn and attack with them. 16.2.2012 Some streamlining: - Removed 4 Virulent Swipes, replaced with 4 Unholy Strengths. - Removed Night's Whisper, replaced with the fourth Tezzeret's Gambit. - Removed 1 Island, 1 Swamp and 1 Drowned Catacomb, replaced with 2 Underground Rivers and 1 Darkslick Shores. Considering my deck's cost efficiency, these cards are better for a quick beatdown. - Will probably get rid of Plague Myrs since ramping won't be necessary and they're way too clumsy to be used as attackers. Will probably replace them with Phyrexian Crusaders, Septic Rats, Whispering Specters or maybe even Hands of the Praetors. Signal pests may get replaced as well.
