Deck Description

A highly aggressive Infect/Proliferate deck that aims to quickly boost the troops with CoSP/Thrummingbird combo. Blighted Agents make sure opponent gets infected early in the game so that Corrupted Resolve and Proliferate can be used as soon as possible.

Sideboard includes Volt Charges if burn tactics are required and two additional Corrupted Consciences if playing against a heavily defended control deck. For those pesky equipment whores the side board contains a special suprise of 4 Carry Aways that can turn the tide even if the opponent decides to bring about one of those infuriating Mirrodin Swords.

I would've gladly bought an Inkmoth Nexus or two, but unfortunately I have a very limited budget.

Edit 9.12.2011:
Added two Sulfur Falls and a Teetering Peaks - latter for shits and giggles. Been hoarding a lot of different instants that would boost my creatures and weaken the opponent's creatures. Decided put 4 Schismotivates into the sideboard and see how they would fare. Also, I removed two Razor Swines (they don't seem that good) and one Ichorclaw Myr and added three Fallen Ferromancers. Their activated ability may prove to be highly useful, but it remains to be tested. Since 80% of my cards have a cmc of 2 or lower, Fallen Ferromancers won't be disrupting the mana curve. Later I might put one Ichorclaw Myr back and instead remove one Contagion Clasp since proliferation would be free with my thrummingbirds and I could add -1/-1 counters indefinitely with Ferromancers.

Edit 21.12.2011:
Removed Kindled Fury and Rally the Forces and replaced them with 2 Brute Forces and 2 Thunder Strikes from sideboard (added 2 Brute Forces to sideboard instead) Added Hall of the Bandit Lord to get those creatuers up and running immediately upon arrival and Pendelhaven to buff them up since almost all the creatures are 1/1.

Thanks, I was thinking about the same thing myself, would just need some new buffing and Boilerworks being replaced by Sulphur Falls. Too bad they're expensive as hell.

I was inspired by a deck article where the writer introduced Thrummingbird/CoSP combo. I thought it'd be nice to use those cards to boost Blighted Agents - you don't need to buff an Infect/Unblockable creature a lot to win quickly and Proliferate hastens this even further by putting additional poison counters on opponent.

Well it's a pretty cool card, but the cmc is way too high for an aggressive beatdown.
