Deck Description

Going for a turn 3 win, with removal backup to make sure the way is clear.

Very effective infect deck. Game 1 I go for the quick win, which usually catchs everyone off guard aside from really counter heavy blue or blue/white decks.

There's a TON of combinations for a Turn 3 win with this deck, making it very consistant. My favorite is:

Turn 1: Blackcleave Cliffs; Inquisition of Kozilek.
Turn 2: Blackcleave Cliffs; Immolating Souleater.
Turn 3: Land; Vendetta away your opponent's blocker, Assault Strobe your Souleater, see if they have any tricks, Cast tainted Strike after no blockers are assigned if it resolves, pay 8 life to pump souleater to a 5 Power Double Striking Infect. Win.

Game 2 and 3 they always side in removal and control, so my sideboard makes my deck a more control slower infect deck, its working out pretty well, but I still need to play test more.

I'd REALLY appreciate any and all suggestions, and I'll be happy to look at your deck too. Thanks!

Deck discussion for Speed Infect

Technically if you go first and have souleater and tainted strike in your opener, if they don't rip a 2-drop to chump block you can just pay 16 life and pump souleater to 9 Power and cast tainted strike for a 10 power infect. That happened once, and was quite funny.

Quite an interesting deck, but you might have some trouble with decks that drop multiple blockers very quickly, such as W metalcraft and R Kuldotha Reborn Decks. Quite a few of my friends play these decks and they often have 2 or 3 creatures out by turn 2. Worst case scenario you could be dealing with 2 3/3 memnites, a 5/3 porcelain legion on turn 2, which I experienced playing a friend who had proxied a post-NPH metal craft deck. Maybe sub out a lightning bolt and a mutagenic growth for a couple of black sun's zeniths so you can deal with those kinds of situations if they arise, or at least put some in your sideboard. Of course it all depends on the meta you are playing in.

Hmm, that is a valid point, with the Nexus and the Plague stinger I still have some evasion, but I really like the idea of a Wrath in the Sideboard. Thanks!
