There are much better options than mind over matter. Cerulean wisps lets you draw a card as well as untap for 1 pemmin's will allow you to keep the burn machine going and twitch costs 3 but will still let you tap your opponents things

I was thinking vedalken shackles to steal creatures. Im not sure where to make cuts though. I guess i dont need tobita or the aethermage really
I would suggest some counters or bounce cards for early game control. Sage's dousing works well with stonybrook bannerett
