Deck Description

Stompy Rush.

How to Play

Mana ramp by sacrificing creatures. If you have a Lumberknot in play, it becomes a huge, untouchable, threat really quickly, due to the constant sacrificing for land. Use Deathrender and one of the sacrifice creatures to drop the big guys in ASAP. Be aggressive and don't let up. Make them use up all their creatures blocking giant smashy things.

Deck discussion for Green Speed

I wouldnt play lumberknot. I think u might need some spells with 1 mana cost like Arbor Elf or Birds of Paradise. Generates mana, so it helps you play your bigger spells earlier. But the sacrifice + deathrender seems to work well beside that.

I couldn't really fit any one-drops, sadly, but all the sacrifice is for ramp. The Lumberknot is for several reasons. With all the sacrifice, it will grow fast, it has double green mana cost, which benefits Primalcrux, and it has hexproof as a bonus. Sakura-Tribe Elder and Deathrender are the best!

Definitely agree with wadada. Scrap Lumberknot and throw in a ramp elf/Scorned Villager and Cultivate as well (two of each, obviously).

And throw naturalize onto the sideboard for Pete's sake man. Although Crushing Vines will more likely than not be preferable anyway because you have no way to deal with flyers.

I tend to not use sideboards. The deck is intended to be super aggressive. Hopefully it will outrun any major flying threats. If I added things to deal with those, it would slow the deck down and defeat the purpose.

I also wonder what everyone has against Lumberknot...

not that people dont like Lumberknot.... the deck is called green speed....and a mana creature would help you run faster.... personally I'd replace 1 duskdale wurm and 3 Howl of the Night Packs with either Bird of Paradise or some other 1 drop mana creature.

The thing with Lumberknot is that it takes a while to get him out, at that point you sacrifice creatures way less than during the early game, resulting in a expensive creature that is not worth it.
