Deck discussion for Sliver Revolutions

I love using this deck. It's really help full when you've got mana becasue all the slivers just seem to stack on and on and on and on, endlessy. Of course you need a good manuver aswell. You might just want to give it a try. Best deck yet for me and ive been collecting for years.

Well Jack my freind, 'that' is a very good question. It all started with my mother not giving me any pocket money one day, i cried but nothing happened. This is where the obsession with money came trickling into my mind like...well i dont know what like, but it was deffinetly trickling.

lol just playin' with yer brain man! It's a white and green deck, with lots of 1 mana costing elves rome my wonderfuly colourful non-basic land(scape). The white mana comes in with 1 creature that says -: "tap: destroy target creature". I will also have alot of power gaining spells such as "target creature gains +4,+4" and so on and so forth.

I think there is a elf that says-: "tap: gain x , x power and toughness. "x" being the amount of elves in play.

jack, this may be an ok deck, yours i mean, but there are mabie 3 cards that can ruin your day.
1: Wrath of god
2: Hivestone
3: Plague Sliver
look them up and be prepared for them. Hivestone is an artifact, which makes all creatures slivers. this is 'bad' for you. you know what wrath of god is so i wont go into it. and Plague Sliver is a bad boy. He makes every sliver deal 1 damage each turn directly to you.
Look these up cos i only told you the basics, but with these cards, ur dead

Why arnt sliver decks used by the pros?

0
Posted 03 April 2007 at 00:24

Shadow~ The reason is because, as useful looking slivers are... there is no need of strategy using them. They are simple and basic and they just start stacking like fat worms waiting to exploded. Another possible reason "pros" don't use slivers is because of the fact that there are many decks that contain cards like the cards Karrat listed. There are other cards that would do the same.

Also a lot of Good slivers are already illegal in "standard" format... so the new slivers are crap

Playing against slivers is really quite boring unless you have an uber deck with which to face it. It does use strategy to use them IF you are challeneged, otherwise you just stack it all up and wait until you can flood through. As far as i can see there aren't any major disadvantages with them... that and the fact that the new slivers aren't really any good at all.

slivers grow up your not even using the better set off slivers try against anything more basic than a green or red ramp deck and youll lose what happens to your slivers when yuo play goblins they lose what whould happen if you played against any other tribal deck youll lose elves goblins faeries slivers are not capable of starting hard and fast like any of the other tribal sets without going back to torment onlslaught etc you cant get a half decent sliver bar jem hide and syncronous sliver and you are only running the gem hides slivers are uninteresting slow and easily beaten hit them with anything before turn 5 or 6 and they fall to peices even make coments on my decks i dont mind but this deck has very limited winning potential id rate it in the region of 5/10 for playability 2/10 for win chances and in terms off imagination or creativity less than nothing at least a ramp deck can be made interesting slivers cant

you want one of each vivid land, a tomb of urborg

lose all the artifacts and enchantments, f

or creatures add some gem hide slivers, sliver legion x2, you only need 2 pulmonics and no spinneret, take 4 sinew sliver and 4 might sliver, drop all other boosters, take three of the double strike sliver, a couple of the vigiance slivers, the red/green haste sliver, a sliver queen if you can get hold of one and a couple of the lifelink slivers

sorry about vague descriptions, it's been a while since i dismantled my slivers and i forgot the names of quite a few of them, the cards i suggested will help to make it faster and more of a "i beat you to death" deck, if you want to invest some money in them and mke them stupid then theres around 30 infinite combos sliver decks can do if you use the right slivers

0

and your wrong, slivers are amazingly fast if you play them right you should have say 22 land and 38 slivers, about 15 if these slivers should be smaller cheap ones that you can get out fast to generate mana using your gem hides, if your sliver deck doesnt have 10 creaures out bye turn 6 then your not as good as me with them :P,

Essence sliver, lifelink sliver as mentioned by Yarrick, is an alternative to spirit loop. Hunter slivers help kill important creatures opponents aren't willing to block with. Sinew and Muscle slivers cheap +1/+1 slivers and are alternatives to Selesnya guildmage. Get some ward slivers.
And um... no offense, but Venser's sliver is crap.

Too slow of a deck, try putting in the shadow sliver and poison one. Some of those slivers cost too much and wouldnt stand for a Chaos deck.

A sliver deck and no poisonous? I am disappointed in you.

@Archangel-Poison is fun, but it's not the most useful Sliver mechanism.

@incubus-I have a Sliver deck that has won a huge percent of its matches so far. It's doesn't use a ton of the Sliver mechanisms that you normally would think of, but that's why I love Slivers.... You can do ANYTHING with them! Check out my deck and you might find some ideas you like. It's a $180 deck, so it's not exactly the most cost efficient Sliver deck, but it works. Literally, you can get over 100 Slivers in play in under 12 turns. And that's being generous to the opponent.

0
Posted 17 December 2009 at 04:14

The thing is, you don't need all those different types of land and artifact lands, because your Slivers all produce every kind of land! Gemhide Sliver for the win!!! You can focus your deck less on land and more on other spells like Coat of Arms, Holy Day, the Hondens, etc. You're deck is decent, because it's a Sliver deck, and they're awesome... But you should add a theme to it to make it truly dominant. Mill, Flying, hundreds of creatures in under 10 turns...etc.
