to help with the mana stalling you should add mana web its an artifact for 3 mana
worship and intrepid hero usually keep me alive the intrepid stops them from playing anything powerful enough to really hit hard and then worships keep me alive forever and once i have luminous angel ill always have creatures so worship will always be in affect
i think that the orims are a good stall tactic as are the martyr of sands in the early game i usually stay alive long enough to get out some decent cards
