Blue is always the bane of every deck. There's not really a way to stop it or to get around it in mono-red, but I believe I'll be able to out-ramp him, and hopefully kill them before they can cripple my boardstate too much.

Doctor Hydrogen:Thank you Doctor. I hate it when it does that. As for the cards you've suggested, I like Fight or Flight, I dislike Aurification though. I don't want to be hit at all throughout the game. I know that's nearly impossible, but since I now have the extra spots, I may want to add in another possible win con. Thank you for your advice.Vaan104:I probably should use O-ring or Banishing Light. It's another way to remove things and give me more defense with sphere of safety. As for Daxos, I'm not really trying to attack whatsoever, so putting him in seems a little pointless. Thank you for your help with the deck.
If you have any ideas for the deck, or think there are things that should be changed/added in/removed, please let me know in the comments below.
Why don't you have Sol Ring or Sensei's Top? Both are one drops that help you here. Mother of Runes would also help you protect your troops from the harsh world of removal that oh so common in Commander.
Mana symbol occurrences? Has to be 3 colours? So three colour deck, with similar rules to this challenge, but I have to make everything have the same mana symbols pop up in each category?I feel like I'm not getting this one as easy as the last, can you explain it a little better or give me an example of what you mean?
I know right. I really enjoy decks like these. Please challenge me more!
I figured this would've been harder. It's tough enough for the deck to work with the proper amount of cards, but if you only include certain cards with a very low mana curve, then the deck gets really crazy. I was actually thinking about dropping around... 8 or so lands. What do you think?
Alright, so it took me some time, and I got distracted a lot, but I've finished your challenge.http://www.mtgvault.com/ifonly/decks/perfectly-balanced/BOOM!
Hope this is what you meant Blizard. Also, I hope I've completed the task to your liking. If not, let me know and I'll fix it.
You know you have 8 Bidents of Thassa right?
This is my first attempt at a Standard legal deck. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I'll be more than happy to hear them.
Thank you. I greatly appreciate the praise. I've actually just recently finished the deck. There are several cards in the deck that have been replaced due to how they react to my play group.
Mainly because he's a body that can be easily removed while Tangle stops damage and stops untapping.
Honestly, I'm trying to avoid infinite turns for this deck. I have a Sharuum deck and a Azami deck that both have infinite combos in them, and people really hate playing them. I just want to prove to my play group that I can win without infinite damage/mill/wraths.
Ashiok and Oona are good choices. They have excellent library removal. Also, you could go with Archive Trap. Fairly good card in a format where deck searching is key.
Hope you guys enjoy the deck. It's something that I'd like to convert into a real deck, but lack the funds to do so. Oh well. I'll get to it eventually.
From what I'm seeing, you have several mana rocks that really just aren't needed. I would throw in Thran Dynamo, Solemn Simulacrum, Palladium Myr, and Burnished Hart instead. They have mana correction and are fetch for lands. I would also drop Arcane Denial since it really doesn't help you that much. I think a Swan Song would be better.I would just drop most of your signets and cluestones. I personally am not a fan of paying three mana for one later on. Just my thoughts though.I have a mill deck that I've put up here, if you'd like to get some ideas from it, I wouldn't stop you.http://www.mtgvault.com/ifonly/decks/mirko-vosk-edh-drinker/
After looking over the deck, I would drop the Obelisk of Esper for a swiftfoot boots or a lightning greaves, to protect certain cards on the field. Also, with the level of control you're playing at, I would say a snapcaster mage would be very useful for the deck as well. Sphinx's Revelation would be a crazy card to play, especially with Drogskol Reaver in the deck. Double that card draw! Lastly, I would recommend putting in overrule or hindering light. They both would probably help you out in this deck.Good deck all in all though. If you ever come across a bigger group that plays commander, I would try to step away from infinite combos and try to win through alternative means. Most people don't like infinite combos in commander. From my experience, they may have one card that lets them go infinite, but they don't rely on that one strategy. You're already doing great with Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance, especially when you're running Paradox Haze. Love that card, btw. Just try to avoid going infinite in commander, it's boring and ends the game too quickly.
Oh man. That's dirty. I'm not the biggest fan of infinite combos, but that sounds like you got it just when you needed it. Also, have you thought about running an Eldrazi in your deck for the graveyard shuffle? Or maybe an elixir of immortality? I run an elixir in Mishra and Ulamog in my Arcanis so the mill doesn't really hurt me that much, least their exiled in some way or another.
Since I've started using this deck, a lot of changes have been made to it. Theros and Born of the Gods gave me some ideas and options that I could use. Also, research into different cards have made this deck a troublesome thing to deal with if you leave it alone for too long.
