fair enough. I haven't really thought about my sideboard at all yet.Ive compromised for now and have 2-2 for prism and lay of the land.Youre right about growing ranks being a 'win-more' card. I guess I was thinking you could have it out on turn 4, and turn 5 you can flash in a wurm EoT and get 2 wurms to swing with.

Thanks for the suggestions you two. I am pretty excited to see other ppl like the idea too.Dith0rder - Not to say the prophetic Prism is bad, but I think I prefer to stick with lay of the land as it guarantees a land drop. I think getting the 4th land drop is pretty important. Also, its the only 1cmc card whereas the prism is 2cmc so it competes with the creatures in that spot (call of the conclave, raise the alarm, selesnya charm).If/when I build this in paper, I'll be sure to test both in that slot. How would the Naya version work? splash red for assemble the legion?Viagrasaurusrex - I think i would go with selesnya charm over azorius charm since it can create a token. As for growing ranks, you may be right, it can be a bit clunky, but the possibility to have a 5/5 trampler copied every turn has got to be pretty cool. Maybe i'll drop it down to a 1 of.I think i do need some mana fixing- quite a few of the cards are GGW or WW or just GW, and I only have 5 sources of blue for jalira and kiora.
When i first was imagining the deck, i had raise the alarm in it... but forgot about all the non-Jalira m15 cards when actually putting this together >.>Ohh, thats not a bad tutor with all our tokens. Might allow us to play less copies of Jalira? Yeah the ability to flash her in EoT makes it much more likely to work.yeah i wish we had a 2 cmc ramp spell too, theres only font of fertility at 1+2, and creature based ones(sylvan caryatid), and 3-4cmc land enchant ones.
storm cards aren't in standard. the cipher cards should in general be repeatable sorceries every turn, creating more guys from young pyro, and still able to be exiled by the nivmagus elemental thus creating +1/+1 counters.
Here is an interesting izzet deck that I liked cause of young pyromancer and cipher, master of waves and purphoros.http://www.mtgvault.com/bishbashbosh/decks/the-2nd-element/
im guessing the trait Doctoring is used just to mana fix and proc young pyro/niv magus elemental?I do like the direction your deck is taking; I think I might try out this creature oriented take sometime soon.
like lotus bloom mentioned, Sigil of sleep is a cheap enchantment that helps to tempo the opponent and if they kill your creature with charisma.. basilisk collar is good creature removal and is reusable with any tims incase they get removed.tandem lookout can be redundancy for curiosityAetherling could be used with/in place of morphling since they are pretty much the same creature. Aetherling just dodges wrath effects so it might be better
Yeah, I like hidden strings for its versatility in a izzet deck that cares about spells cast (young pyromancer, guttersnipe, etc) as it allows you to get extra value out of attacking every turn. and untap mana for the opponent's turn.As for drawing two or stealing 2 creatures, you need the combo up already for it to work. Ive found getting these types of things online pretty hard since they die to anything and everything. Using the extra card to only slightly make the combo better is probably not worth it, especially since it can be a bit difficult to pull off.ill look for something more synergistic while watching lol lcs :D
Hidden strings is a sorcery so several of the interactions you just mentioned dont actually work.1) fair enough. or if they have no blockers, you can ping with one, attack with the ciphered one, untapping both, ping for another 2 for total of 4 damage each turn..2) fair use.3) you're tapping their land on your turn at sorcery speed, most likely use for this is only removing mana for counter spells4) you don't care too much about blockers which is pretty much the only reason to tap their creatures on your own turn5) sorcery speed, doesnt work since they are attacking on their own turn.6) sorcery speed, also even if was instant, you cant tap down stuff in response to it being tapped as a cost of the ability7) i suppose you can ping another 2 times each turn, or untap mana for counterspell mana. fair enough8) ?
well for aggro red decks its the best one drop they have. especially since it is the only thing red has to kill a sylvan caryatid (other than anger of the gods) with aggro, the life loss is mostly ignorable; take the shock lands as an example.
there's firedancer and fire drinker satyrs.firedancer is what most people were talking about (wording is something like - when a instant or sorcery you control deals damage to an opponent, deal that much damage to a creature that player controls)firedrinker is just a 2/1 1 drop that you can pump. when it is dealt damage, it deals damage to its controller.
I've been watching TheMagicManSam's videos too.for Goblin electromancer, I am pretty sure it can only bring fused spells down 1 cost. so it is 4 not 3 mana for turn//burn.Other than that, the seems pretty spot on... but im not too great myself :Swhat are your thoughts on the Satyr FireDancer?
i'd assume he only owns those scry lands.
