READ DESCRIPTION FOR EXPLANATION.
So me and a friend started a new thing.
He chooses 3 cards from his collection, and so did I from mine. All 3 cards from both players around the value between 1 and 3 euro.
He picked 1 out of my 3, and I did 1 of his. In this case, he took Flayer of the Hatebound.
We made some custom rules:
1. The cards that you pick must either be rare or mythic, but pay attention to the restriction rule. (number 2.)
2. The restriction rule, as for rares / mythics that you may use in your deck are numbered. In total you may play 4 mythics, and 10 rares, or use from 1 to 4 spots of the mythics yet another rare. This is done that players can't just put in every card they want.
For card types there are rules as well as you have a restriction on how many rares/mythics you may play of that type card:
-2x Rare / Mythic land
-4x Rare / Mythic creature. It could be in the combination of 2x mythic, 2x rare, it's allowed to use multicolor / artifact / colorless creatures.
-2x Planewalkers
-2x Rare / Mythic Enchantment
-2x Rare / Mythic Sorcery
-2x Rare / Mythic Instant
-2x Rare / Mythic Artifact (this is none creature artifact, if you choose a creature artifact it counts under the creature restriction)
3. The deck most be minimal 60 cards, you don't use a sideboard, so keep in mind to board in stuff 'in case of'. There is no maximum amount of cards you may use.
You may use every uncommon / common up to 4x. Use the normal restriction rules of Vintage.

4. The card that your friend picked, MUST be the card you have to at least use a combo with. For an example, if I were to pick my friends Turntimber Rangers, he could combo it with Xenograft, and make an infinite wolf token combo. In other words, try to make either a fun or a winning combo, so you have to choose the 3 cards you pick in the begin very wisely. Think ahead what you could do to combo it with. Keep in mind, not every time you can pull of a certain combo, so add search cards, destruction, counter, card draw, mana gain, as long as the combo is the main point. Try to keep it original :)
5. You may NOT use the other 2 cards that didn't got chosen by your friend in you deck.
6. You may choose what ever color you want to play, just keep the card restrictions in mind.
So I made this deck with that concept. It's quite good fun as I love building decks, and it's a good way to play underrated cards, trying to make a fun deck out of it. It's a great way to just play with cards you don't trade and just lay around in your collector's album, or wherever you keep them. We made those rules up in a hour or so, so if people feel like it still needs some twitching let me know.
