Deck Description

Decided to give this a go: A not so expensive modern 8-rack mono black kind of deck
I aim for an irritating deck where I enjoy the lowest cost game dealing damage to my opponent, while having the fun of not letting him do a thing.
I don't have a great sideboard because I havent think of one yet. I accept help on that :)
I searched for some 8-rack decks and the ones I thought to be the best ones had a pretty explosive price tag...
I do want some feedback along with critics!
Cheers!

Special thanks to DedWards and Muktol.

How to Play

The base of this deck is to leave your opponent handless (cards :P) and dealing damage with that.
- Liliana's Caress will aid on gathering dmg from discarding, while The Rack and Shrieking Affliction gives your handless opponent a bad time, making him loose his head over the game, sometimes...

- As for creatures, Abyssal Nocturnus is a cheap drop down with some great pros on this deck; Sangromancer also benifits you, lending some life points; Guul Draz Specter looks like a perfect candidate for this deck, as a creature.

- Liliana Vess is the plainswalker I choose for this deck duo to its price and cool hability. By 8 points your opponent have a lots of discarded creatures in the graveyard. While reaching that: discard, discard, discard...

- Sorcery: Mostly discard making cards though I decided to give a room for land destruction card to make the game even harder for your opponent.

- Quest for the Nihil Stone is a card with some influence on this deck. I decided to give it a go;

This is it.
Cheers!

Deck discussion for 6-Pack-Rack (Budget)

Ravenous Rats is a classic two drop that forces the opponent to discard a card.
Rotting Rats does the same job as Ravenous Rats, but can do it once more from the graveyard. Down side is you have to discard a card too.
Scepter of Fugue doesn't cause discard for playing it, but you can activate it every turn, keeping thier hand size down.
Waste Not gets you more value out of the opponent's discards.
For a long time, Wrench Mind was the closest thing we had to Hymn to Tourach in Modern, but now we have Whispers of Emrakul.
Because Liliana's Caress and Megrim work off number of cards discarded, Dark Deal might be worth considering. Though, with all the discard in the deck, I'm not sure it's worth it.

Thanks!
I did some changes taking in consideration you message.
I was thinking about Waste Not but the price on these makes me cry... But you are right, It's almost a must and It would help me keep some cards on my hand. I'd replace it for the Hypnotic Specter.
Whispers of Emrakul makes me nervous about the Delirium since mostly of my cards are sorcery. :s
I took Necrogen Mists out because I think it would affect me since my deck is cheap on casting spells. I did took out Distress as well and replace it with Dark Deal.

You might need more actual discarding and less trigger effects.

You could decide on whether to go all in for Racks + Shrieking Affliction OR Liliana's Caress + Megrim + Waste Not.

The first option focuses on keeping opponents hand size down, allowing you to win when both of you run out of cards and creatures, which is great for double edged strategy such as Rotting Rats and Smallpox. I'm currently testing myself if Grim Discovery is worth a slot in this type of deck.

With the second tactic you need some plan as to what to do at start of the game. If you play your discards, you'll need some draw for yourself and opponent so they can later take some damage from the enchantments. Sign in Blood can be used either way. Howling Mine and Master of the Feast can help you there aswell.

Hi Dankirk.
Thank you for the feedback!
I toon your advice in consideration and I choose the secound option. It's cheaper and fun to play. Since I'm looking for a Budget deck, it's more appealing to me :)

So, I took two Liliana's Caress and two Smallpox too, Brought in 3 Guul Draz Specter and added one more Scepter of Fugue. I think Guul Draz Specter fits on this deck.

Please, If you dont mind, take a look at the deck.
