Deck discussion for Modular Grafts

Novijen Sages is not that great - instead, pop in some Skullclamps.

Bounce Lands (Simic Growth Chamber) hurt mana tempo. Take them out unless you have some means to prevent the massive setback (Exploration, Amulet of Vigor). Speaking of lands, Filter lands (Flooded Grove) never hurt. Same with Hinterland Harbor.

Proliferation works but sometimes it's soooooo slow. An alternative that isn't worth it but interesting to mention is doubling. Evolution Vat + Training Grounds (3 + 2N mana for N doubling) or Gilder Bairn + Training Grounds + Paradise Mantle for DOUBLE ALL THE THINGS, FOREVER AND EVER.

Swap the Initiates for Noble Hierarch. Not only decent mana ramp, but also functions as a booster for later.

Need spot/board removal? Check out Cytoshape and Mirrorweave. The former is essentially a "Destroy target creature without buffs" and Mirrorweave is the same except a Wrath of God.

Since we're in +1/+1 counter-land, take a glance at Spike Weaver and it's best buddy Primal Cocoon. It's enough to lock the battlefield down until someone decides to remove - that's when you use Plaxcaster Frogling. Or Shielding Plax. Or Plaxmanta. Or Clout of the Dominus.

Finally, check into Fate Transfer for your non-Modulars. One of your own about to go bye-bye? Save those +1/+1 counters!

Either that or Rites of Flourishing, me thinks.

The bounce lands are there specifically to bounce Llanowar Reborn for a some extra grafting.

Yar, I've seen and used those combos but not good for this. XD

I'd rather see Birds than Noble to get some flying, which is why you'll see it in the sideboard, but graft is essential to this working.

I'll look into the removal.

I'll take a look at those.

Fate Transfer was already in the sideboard. XD

Rites of Flourishing is a tad risky because of the "group hug"-iness it instates. And DERP for me not looking at the sideboard. :X
