>>PLEASE READ<< This deck was intended as a response to "Deck Challenge; Malignus" which had to have Malignus able to OHKO an opponent. Despite this, I did not centre the deck around the insane fatty, instead going for a versatile deck that presents a major threat no matter what card happens to be out. In the early game, there are two ways the deck can play out. You can go for a Vexing Devil/Porcelain combo for sheer damage and to race the opponent or play two Plains to get out a Grand Abolisher. Onto the former, Mr. Vex can dish out 4 damage on the first turn if they dislike the look of a 4/3 staring them down before they even take their first turn, and the 3/1 First Striker (for 2 CMC and 2 life no less) puts pressure on them. Abolisher can be used against Control decks to stop them using their pesky mana leaks. After the first two turns, the third can also go Control or Aggro depending on what's needed more. Both coming in the form of White, O-Ring is obviously anti-everything and Silverblade can turn a simple (?!) 4/3 into an 8/3. If the game is still dragging out, a Malignus can prove to be a real threat. Especially with a Flail or, 2 turns later, throwing out a Gisela. Combining Malignus with either will result in an instant win. Afraid they'll Rebuke/Doom Blade it? Be sure to say "Nope." when you point to your Abolisher. Then kiss that Abolisher. Treasure it. Have fun playing it! (shame there's so much R/W hate present in Standard right now. Thanks Humans.)

Nice... fast, powerful & seems effective... I don't really like Malignus... It's huge for a while, but if U strike once, it'll get weakened & it's easy 2 delt with... I've also experimented Gisela with the Paladin ... it's a deadly combo! :) ... I C U've registrated today & commented on 1 of my decks (the myr one)... I've made a lot of tribal decks be4 & I put up some of them... most of them R standard... I haven't put my extended elf deck up yet, but it's the strongest 1 I think :) ... If U like tribal decks, I would like 2 C some of yours! Here my personal favorite, the treefolk: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=339164

I'd love to chuck together a Tribal deck sometime. One thing I'd like to say though is that if I were to replace Malignus with Sphere of the Suns it'd clash too much with the already-cramped turn two. I shall make changes now and you tell me what you think!
By the way... I wanted 2 say that in your deck, U should use 23 lands I think, remove 2 Malignus & put in two "Sphere of the Suns", or "Palladium Myr" & 1 more "Hero of Bladehold"... That would help U cast Gisela earlier & would lower the possibility to draw a land, when U need something else...
Cheers mate! The deck was based around a Malignus challenge so I naturally dropped 4 in. I could take 2 out and replace them with Urabrask for some Hasty angel action. Also, I was considering dropping a land and Pillar of Flames for 2 Infernal Plunges for the quick mana. Imagine popping Urabrask/Malignus on turn 3 or even Gisela on Turn 5? And for Gisela, you can sack a token generated from Bladehold. As for Malignus, I figure he wasn't to attack until you had the flail or Gisela out as that would result in double damage either way, which means an instant win. Even if that's not possible, the damage is unpreventable anyway so if the enemy is running Turbo-Fog it'll take 10 out of 'em.
