OK so I decided to go make Naya while building it upon all the Selesnya stuff I had. It was last FNM where I decided to go buy a lot of the cards I needed for the Naya deck I'm thinking of, and of cousre this is the weird shenanigan I come up with. There are some cards I am thinking of putting in here. Fleecemane Lion is completely better than Call of the Conclave, but Call is still in here because it can be populated. Mizzium Mortars will go over Lightning Strike the moment I get some of those.
It plays much like Selesnya, only theres more removal with red spashed in here for the burning. Magma Jet is the main burning card because it can take care of small creatures (or 2 damage to your opponent) and then scry 2 for more control on your drawing. There are more burning spells in here like Lightning Strike, but the moment I get Mizzium Mortars is when those cards get replaced because Mizzium Mortars can take care of Stormbreath Dragons, something no other removal spell can really do. It's pretty much the same system with populating as the one from a while ago: Trostani, Wurm/Centaur, populate, you gain 5/3 life, loop until the opponent does something. You could also use Rootborn Defenses for bonus points. In your sideboard, you've got your Anti-Control package with 3 Mistcutters and 4 Loxodons. 1 Scavenging Ooze is here to late-game drain all the creatures in the graveyard that died (even 1 Scavenging Ooze works). Spear of Heliod can come up against flyers and Ajani can give something Double Strike and Flying. Rest is all self-explanatory.
