OK, so now I'm at a new card shop! Which means I'm going to be spending money, and a lot of it! I decided to take a new approach when I bought 2 intro decks for the G/B Intro deck for M14. I bought 2 of them because.....well why not? They were each $10 and they had 2 packs. Wonderful! I even got a Garruk in there so that was exciting, especially since that was the first pack i opened. I also got more support for my Future Esper Deck (say Sphinx's Revelation and Jace, Memory Adept) so that deck might be coming back soon. In the meantime, I have another deck I feel can be worked on to be more competitive against aggro decks (which of course, I hate a lot!). Here's a deck I put together, playtested, and works pretty nicely. Should I really call this a Budget deck? I don't know, has Shock Lands and a $17 Planeswalker but it's only $64.49 and that's actually really cheap for a deck like this.
So the goal of this deck is to get big scary stuff out (sort of like in my previous deck, MTG Nostalgia, but Standard). This kind of acts like a Golgari Midrange, only I don't want to say "Golgari", because it doesn't use a lot of scavenge. There are big creatures such as Woodborn Behemoth which will get bigger later on and Garruk's Horde which will get creatures out faster. It's decent for what it's worth, I can tell you that much.
