Bash down your opponent with creatures that have hexproof so that no removal spell can harm it (Searing Spear can't touch Witchstalker). Also, with removal spells like Hero's Downfall (and doom blade to side in if the opponent isn't running black), you can remove anything that blocks your way (now that Jace is being played more, Hero's Downfall has become quite useful).
